Ms. LIAO graduated from Nanchang Hangkong University majoring in Computer Science and Technology. With her proficiency in English, Ms. LIAO served a Fortune 500 company for more than 7 years. She has worked in IT R&D for about 2 years and in the IP industry for about 11 years. In her 13-year career, she has been deeply recognized and trusted by her clients and is always a designated attorney by clients. 

Ms. LIAO specializes in patent prosecution and enforcement in the fields of software & communications, electronic circuits, and mechanical structures. Her expertise spans both domestic and foreign-related patent matters, including patent design around, patent mining, filing strategy, infringement risk assessment, and invalidation.

She has rich experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in China and other jurisdictions such as the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, and India. In particular, she has in-depth research on overseas patent layout, filing strategy, accelerated examination strategy, and especially OA-response strategy which brings her a higher rate of patent allowance before the offices of CNIPA, USPTO, EPO and IP Australia, etc. She also has extensive experience in invalidation oral hearings, with a success rate of over 95% in obtaining maintenance of validity of rights in invalidation proceedings.
