The extension of the protection term of Chinese design patents is not a piece of new info now. But as we all know, with the change of a certain policy, there will be various supporting measures introduced to match it. Today I am sharing a post here regarding the annuity fee. For the 11th to 15th year, the annuity fee (official fee) is RMB 3,000 per year. This will be applied to those design patent applications filed after June 1, 2021 (inclusive). Along with China's joining the Hague Convention on May 5 of this year, there should be more to discuss subsequently.
